Coramin - cardiac
bioregulator
Coramin is produced from the cattle and pig cardiac muscle. It is a
nucleoprotein complex, which acts selectively on cardiac cells promoting the
recovery of cardiac functions and increasing cardiac resistance to ischemic
disease and tolerance to physical loads.
Clinical trials were conducted on 156 patients with cardiac ischemic
disease, hypertension and consequences of myocardial infarction. Control groups
consisted of 98 similar patients who underwent standard treatment.
Coramin effectiveness was estimated on the basis of standard methods of
investigation. There was evaluated the dynamics of patients complaints, as well
as clinical blood and urine tests, blood biochemistry and blood coagulograms
prior to and after coramin treatment, ultrasound heart examination, ECG,
exercise tolerance test.
The patients subjected to coramin treatment showed decreased complaints
on general state, significantly lower occurrence and shorter duration of
stenocardia attacks. In some cases, it appeared possible to reduce 3-fold a
daily dose of nitrates of prolonged action as compared to initial dose
indicated prior to treatment. At the same time stenocardia attacks did not
become more frequent. Reliable stabilization of objective indices was also
noted: 2-fold decrease of energy outlay index, confirming more economic
expenditure of cardiac energetic resourses due to decreased myocardial
requirement in oxygen; increased tolerance of physical load, determined by the
value of threshold power and total volume of the fulfilled work; improved
diastolic properties of the myocardium manifested by strong correlation between
strike volume, minute volume and final diastolic volume of blood circulation.
Coramin was shown to produce impact on diastolic function of the left
ventricle, which is probably related to decreased “hardness” of the myocardium,
i.e. the increase of its elasticity.

Coramin is recommended for accelerated recovery of cardiac muscle
functions in case of ischemic disease, as well as after myocardial infarction,
in hypertention, increased physical load, exposure to various adverse factors.
Coramin is also recommended to the elderly for maintaining cardiac function.
No side effects have been registered.
It should be stored in a dry cool light protected place.
