Cerebramin - cerebral bioregulator

Cerebramin is produced from cattle and pig brain. It is a nucleoprotein complex, which acts selectively on cerebral cells and promotes the recovery of brain functions and memory improvement.

Clinical trials were conducted on 257 patients, elderly people included, with delayed aftereffects of craniocerebral injury (the remoteness of traumas constituted the period from 1 to 10 years) and stress affections, post-insult states, vascular encephalopathy, intellectual and mnestic disorders, decreased mental capacity and concentration, memory deterioration.

Control groups consisted of 188 similar patients who underwent standard treatment.

The effectiveness of cerebramin application was estimated both subjectively and according to objective indices: with the help of correction test and electroencephalogram.

Subjectively, health complaints became fewer. Patients noted the improvement of memory and brightness, better orientation in the surroundings and occupation, decreased intensity and duration of headaches and vertigo. Their sleep came back to normal and they felt rested after night sleep, as well as. emotionally balanced and volitional.

Objectively, as compared to control group, cerebramin treated patients showed better dynamics of correction test results: they could look through bigger number of characters with a less number of mistakes; no more sharp fluctuations in the number of looked through characters within equal periods of time were registered; the period of work absorption by the middle of the test and gradual decrease of the curve towards the end of the test evidence better concentration. The patients revealed stable bioelectric activity of the brain judging from encephalographic data: increased alpha-index, more distinct modulation and restored zonal differences in alpha-rhythm, absence of paroxismal discharges, weakened irritative processes; the improved structure of EEG types was confirmed by a bigger number of normal and conventionally pathological types, while the number of pathological EEG types decreased almost two-fold.

Thus, the involvement of reserve capacity of the brain cortex with the aid of cerebramin permits to improve integrated brain functions and to put down intellectual and mnestic manifestations on early stages of organic dementia of various genesis.

Cerebramin application is recommended for accelerated recovery of brain functions after craniocerebral injury, stroke, brain surgery, in peri- and postnatal encephalopathy, intellectual and mnestic disorders, after the influence of different adverse factors on the organism. Cerebramin is recommended to the elderly for supporting brain capacity.

No side effects have been registered.

It should be stored in a dry cool light protected place.
